We work in solid 925 sterling silver — never plated base metal. Every piece is finished with a fine layer of rhodium, the brightest of the platinum metals, so it keeps its white shine and resists tarnish for years.
First discovered in 1893 in a meteor crater in Arizona, moissanite is one of the hardest stones on earth — second only to diamond — and more brilliant than diamond itself.
We accept only the highest grades: D colour, perfectly colourless; VVS1 clarity, flawless to the eye even under magnification; and an excellent cut, so every facet returns the light.
A stone is only as beautiful as the way it is held. Each claw is shaped and closed by hand — enough to keep the stone safe for a lifetime, little enough to let light pour in from every side.
The last step is the longest. Every surface is polished by hand, then checked under magnification, until there is nothing left between you and the light. Only then does a piece receive the ROMXI name.
